SETUP & EXECUTION

Initial Phase

  • 01Hinge at hips until torso is parallel to floor.
  • 02Hold DBs with palms facing each other.

Movement Phase

  • Raise arms out to sides in a wide arc.
  • Squeeze the back of the shoulders.
  • Lower with control.

Form Deviation Analysis

  • ×Squeezing shoulder blades instead of delts.
  • ×Using momentum.
  • ×Standing too upright.
